They require a VM Ware specialist to join their ranks in a senior capacity and be responsible for understanding and troubleshooting why I/O Performance is bad within Virtualised environments. Make recommendations and be confident in the fixes to improve SAN I/O Performance and troubleshoot and navigate through ESX 3.5 Update 3 in GUI and CMD Line Prompt efficiently.
The successful candidate will have experience in troubleshooting HP EVA 4100 SAN, HP V CLASS BROCADES and HBA HOSTS, have knowledge and be able to demonstrate to IT Leads and executives why performance is degraded and how this can be improved and be able to understand how CISCO LAN Architecture work and how they are configured in case you need to make configuration item changes.
Essential Skills: Must be a specialist in VMWARE ESX and HP EVA 4100 Storage. (Absolute Must!) Working on large scale project implementations Document and design solutions Give formal presentations to peers and executives and help them to understand how the proposed designs will address their needs Provide Proof of Concept environments enabling the project community to understand the proposed solutions Implement large scale VM Ware solutions VMWARE ESX and Virtual Centre Troubleshoot VM Platforms (Guest and Hosts) to increase performance P2V, Windows 2003 Active Directory HP EVA 4100 (Installed, Configured and Troubleshooting) Disaster Recovery
