Globally my client provides services within Financial Services, Public Sector, Communications, Transportation and Commercial market places.
To work within a highly secure environment on mission critical GIS, Geographic Information Systems, applications. My client is seeking an experienced J2EE Developer ideally with recent experience of Design, Build, Testing and Support of GIS applications.
The ideal candidate must have a strong background with Core Java or J2EE development using UML design and be proficient with all aspects of the project life cycle. Excellent knowledge of XML and XML Messaging, Webservices, JMS, JSP's, Servlets, Tomcat, Weblogic and MQSeries. Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases with PLSQL skills plus experience of UNIX, ideally Sun Solaris, including scripting.
Ideally the candidate will already be security cleared to SC level or higher and be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a computer related subject.
