Front-end Developer
Permanent, Up to £30k, London, Ref: DHBIT1179AD

Front-end Developer required with cross-browser HTML, CSS and Javascript experience with good knowledge of DDA compliance issues. Any knowledge/experience in .Net or another back-end technology is a good bonus as there will be an opportunity to learn more. A fantastic top-20 Digital media Agency in London requires a Junior Front-end developer with a passion for CSS and HTML development. Significant experience in XHTML, CSS, Javascript and XML is required as well as the ability to code and develop own work as well as working within a broader team. the right candidate will be used to a creative environment; experience in an advertising agency would be ideal.

The right candidate will have developed large commercial sites and be able to code to DDA Level 1 and 2 a minimum requirement. A good related degree in Computer Science, or Digital/Interactive Design or the equivalent industry experience. The client is a fast-expanding new-age media agency that find themselves within the top 20 New Media Agency List and are incredibly passionate about creating very good design and devlopment work for their clients. As such, as well as being a very good candidate in terms of XHTML,CSS, Javascript and XML, the right candidate will be an exceptional communicator, have a sunny disposition, be great at working in a team and have the ability to handle responsibility whilst still being incredibly self-motivated. Because of the nature of agency work, there is a fair amount of juggling required so the ability to manage your own time is very important, as is a good general awareness of internet technologies. Essential Skills: XHTML, CSS, Javascript, XML. Desirable Skills: Ajax knowledge, knowledge of DDA Compliancy and useful knowledge of .Net or another back-end technology.
